At Pro-Tec Plumbing & Air, community has always been at the heart of what we do. While our team is known for providing reliable plumbing and air conditioning services throughout Southwest Florida, we also love opportunities to come together outside of work and give back to organizations making a real impact. On August 28, 2025, we were thrilled to join Avow Foundation’s Back to School Trivia Night at the Ispiri Community Center—and what a night it was!
The event brought together local businesses, families, and trivia enthusiasts for an evening of brain-teasing fun, laughter, and friendly competition—all while raising funds to support Avow’s mission. For those who may not know, Avow provides compassionate care, comfort, and resources for individuals and families during life’s most challenging moments. Their work touches countless lives in our community, and supporting their efforts is something we’re deeply proud of.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. Teams gathered around tables decorated with pencils, note pages and “back to school” flair, ready to put their trivia skills to the test. The Pro-Tec crew showed up with plenty of enthusiasm and maybe just a little bit of competitive spirit. We played in a team of six, strategized over every question, and laughed our way through some tricky categories.
And here’s the exciting part—we didn’t just participate, we placed! The Pro-Tec Plumbing & Air team proudly took home 2nd place in the competition. Considering the number of talented teams in the room, we couldn’t be happier with the result. It was a fantastic reminder that teamwork and communication (two things we practice daily on the job) also come in handy when tackling trivia questions.
Of course, the night wasn’t just about winning. It was about connection—both with each other and with our neighbors. We shared a delicious cafeteria-style dinner, enjoyed good conversations, and celebrated alongside other teams who were equally committed to supporting Avow’s work. There was plenty of laughter, a little bit of playful rivalry, and lots of cheering as teams battled it out round by round.
Events like these remind us why we love being part of the Naples community. They give us the chance to step away from the hustle of everyday work, engage in some fun, and most importantly, contribute to causes that matter. Supporting Avow Foundation means helping provide critical care for those facing serious illness, grief, or end-of-life challenges. It’s a mission we’re honored to stand behind.
We want to extend a huge thank-you to Avow for hosting such a well-organized and memorable evening. The effort they put into creating a fun, meaningful event was evident in every detail—from the creative trivia categories to the warm hospitality.
Our team left the event not only proud of our 2nd-place finish but also energized by the sense of community and purpose the night inspired. And yes, we’re already planning for next year’s Trivia Night—because something tells us Pro-Tec might just be ready to take the #1 spot next time!
