Rick B. is the HVAC Manager at Pro-Tec Plumbing and Air, bringing over a decade of experience and leadership to the team. Originally from central Wisconsin, Rick began his HVAC career after earning his Service Technician Certificate from Northcentral Technical College in 2012. He quickly advanced in the field, becoming Director of Operations at his previous company by 2021.
At Pro-Tec, Rick is focused on growing the HVAC division and setting a new standard of quality for both team members and customers. He is a former NATE-certified technician and an expert in Trane communicating and inverter-driven systems, as well as Manitowoc ice machines. His credentials include graduation from Ruth King’s Service Manager Survival School and certifications from the National Comfort Institute in Whole System Performance and Residential Air Balancing. Rick also completed Trane’s No Pressure Selling Boot Camp, where he was recognized with awards for Best Presenter and Best Evaluator.
Outside of work, Rick enjoys golfing, biking, and doting on his pets. He’s a true crime enthusiast who believes that truth is stranger than fiction.
